i've got what was a full time 8 lug dana 44 from a dodge military truck and am replacing basically the knuckles out to convert to part time hubs. i still need the spindles, caliper brackets, and outer axle shafts. so, here's my question...is there any difference in these parts b/w the 6 and 8 lug??? from what i recall the difference, besides the lug pattern, was the axle tubes....
i've found a 6 lug chevy 44 for a good price that i'm hoping to use for my remaining parts...
