82 dodge w-250 transmission

Hi im new to the forum. I wasnt sure where to put this so im gona put it here. Ive got a 1982 Dodge w-250 with a 4 speed. Ive been researching for 5 hours strait. My question is what kind of transmission do i have? Im pretty sure its a Borg warner or a new process but i cant narrow it down to which one.

best way to find out for sure is to crawl under the truck & look @ it...should have some casting #'s & prolly a np or bw symbol cast into it...just sayin'...not tryin' to flame or start an uprooarr...

Let me refrase that i think its 4 possible ones and i can narrow it down cause there very farmiller

Is it a top loader or, does it have sift rails on the side? What is the first gear ratio like?

Its a 4 speed. 1st gear a granny gear. And all gears all realy big. And the shifters is top loader.

Aluminum top is a 435.that is the most likely tranny.

that be her... I'll take a pic of my spare 435 I have in the shop still bolted to the crossmember and post it for you. It came from out of my old 80 pw.
