Time to get some second or third opinions on a recurring issue. I have had two different places (local garages) look at one of my transmission cooling lines that is leaking, both claimed to have fixed the problem, but as soon as I drive it away and get back to my house, the darn line is leaking where it hits the bottom of the radiator. Should I quit messing with the darn fitting and just replace the whole line front to back? It's a little hard to tell if it's the fitting or the piece that goes into the bottom of the radiator that the fitting attaches to. Anyway, any advice is welcomed, skip the local garages and take it to an actual transmission place?

They are both good shops, have always been honest with me, but one said the coupling needed to be tightened, which I tried myself, and it looks like they wrapped the threads in what appeared to be tephlon take, and the other from this week said they replaced the coupling. I'm just not sure which direction I should take this, I'm about to rip the radiator out and replace the whole damn thing in case it's the cooling core in the radiator iteself and it's just leaking down on the line....I just can't tell.

I'd try and wipe it dry, then use some degreaser on it, wipe dry again, get it as dry from fluid as you can. Throw some powder on it, baby powder will do, just so it's stuck to the whole area. Jack the read up, chock it, put in gear let it turn some. Shouldn't take a whole lot, just enough to make the fluid circulate. I am assuming this is the low pressure side? then look at it and see where the wet is.
