84 Scrambler and Trailer(combo package :-)) - $25,000 obo - Raleigh, NC

Life is pulling me in different directions and I’ve decided to sell my 84 Scrambler. I've owned this jeep since 2019. I purchased it from an active duty Navy sailor who bought it in California, shipped it to Oaho, Hawaii, then shipped it to Virginia Beach when he was restationed in 2018. When purchased, it was not in the best of conditions… the engine was in need of an overhaul, it had manual brakes and to be honest, was a terror to drive. I swapped in a Dana 44 rear built by East Coast Gear Supply in 2020 and slapped a pair of 35's on it. My friend and former fabricator for Hendrick Motorsports and owner of Deerfield Fabrication, built the rear spare tire carrier and the roll cage. The cage was built off of a GenRight LJ cage design and Brian was able to bend and weld the cage together, as he would for Nascar teams. In 2023 I purchased the current set of axles that are under it and brought it to its current condition. Once adding the PSC hydro assist steering, as well as the other upgrades, I can drive it down the highway at 70mph and steer it with 1 finger. It has 0 wonder when driving and is an all-around pleasure to drive either to work, going to get ice cream or on the trails.

Also for sale to go along with my Jeep is an 18ft Hurst Equipment Trailer. Trailer dimensions are 18'x83". The GVWR is 12,000lbs. The trailer has brand new tires and wheels with less than 500 miles. The axles and bearings are serviced yearly, most recently in May 2026. The deck is in good condition and is coated with deckover to ward off excessive corrosion on the boards. I am selling both of these as a package and would prefer not to separate. Serious inquiries only and no joy rides.
