85 4runner bodyswap

my 85 was pretty rusty,My 86 blew head gasket and was an auto.So I put them together to make one Solid runner.86 on 85 chassis.

So, I'm curious...
Never having doen this, I always figured the biggest pai nwas dealing w/ all teh wiring coming in/out of the firewall, like teh engine harness.
How did yo udeal w/ that? Just leave the harness attached to the cab, and plug the '86 harness/wiring into the '85 motor etc?

yeah,jsut unplugged the connectors at the comp,pulled them through firewall.The worst part was modding the cab for the 5spd.(adding clutch master,pedal ect) Wasnt too bad,fairly simple.My buddy has a lift which made life easy.

how was the body behind the pass side rear wheel opening on the other one? I'm needing some sheet metal for mine to patch a rust hole there.
