85 SR5 4X4 CAB REMOVAL

can you remove this cab without removing the motor first and without the doors fenders hood bumpers interea and grill stuff can two big strong hairy guys pick it up enough to clear the motor or can you do it with a cherry picker .If I remove the bed first do think I could pull up on it where the core support is and just roll it back over to where the bed was? JD

Yea, I'm pretty sure you don't have to remove the motor. I believe you will have to remove the fenders and grille/front clip. As for weight, not too sure. Are you reomving the dash/heater box and seats? If the cab is completely empty, two big hairy guys could probably do it.

You won't have to remove the motor or the front clip, just all the mounting bolts that connect to the frame. It is alot easier if you remove the front clip though. You may run into the inner fenders hitting the intake or other items but you should be able to manuver everything around and make it all clear if you choose to leave the clip on.
