To start off this is not my first build but my first toyota. I got this truck off hear on christmas eve 2011. The foundation was already laid, but the truck needed work. Truck had too much lift and was top heavy i removed 4'' of lift and she is still high.

Truck already has
5.29's
Stock trans and case.
Spartan locker front
Lock rite rear
Winch bumper
Ramsey 8.5k
38'' gumbo mudders

Plans include
5.3 swap
4l60e or TH400 undecided
205
TON's as budget allows.

Parts aquired now
Skys birfield eliminator axles( got these for $200 off pirate) so no longfields for now.
TG trunion bearing eliminator
TG front axle truss
Nitro full spool for rear (lock rite is on its last leg)

Truck had a wood/2'' square tubing bed. would not hook at all!!! rear had no weight so i decided a steel bed would be better. Told the wife it needed to be steel to haul scrap metal SHH SHH. Lol

The old bed

Bought some 1/8'' plate and some 1 3/4 by .125 wall tube for the bedsides and got to welding

Braced the bedsides and boxed the bed to the frame. gonna half to cut a hole in the center of the bed for the shocks though that will come later when we get the bed done.

Sorry for the crappy pics my old camera is on its last leg the wife wont let me take the new one out. The name the Punisher came from the monster punisher sticker on the hood lol.

Any info anybody has on the truck would be great!!! i just like to know the history off it.

Contact cody, his name on here is CJP0814. He might be able to get you pointed in the right direction

As far as I know 72Rockcruiser sold it to a guy in Boone who worked at High Country 4x4 who lifted, locked and geared it. At the same time he put on that front bumper that came from Wreckingball's old 4runner when we removed it for the SAS. The truck was then sold to another guy around here who I guess you got it from.

Thanks for the info Stretch!!! Good to know. I plan on taking more lift off the truck to give it a lower stance dont know what front springs the dude used but they are stiff as :poop:
wont hardly flex planing on purchasing some 3'' allpro flex springs tommarow.

nice to have a friend with a shop huh?:flipoff2:

A little update, got the spool installed, have to put the third back in the truck. Got my front springs this weekend ordered 3'' shackle hanger and leaf spring mount from Barnes4wd, for my chevy 63'' swap will post some update pics later on this week.

Got the 3rd back in and all sealed up. Got my 63'' chebbies on today thanks to COB @ BNBOFFROAD. I must say these things flex awesome. Gotta change my front springs next week sometime get the shafts put in the front axle and the trunion bearing eliminator installed. Also got some ARP studs for the high steer arms as well.

Not the safest way to hold your rig up but hey it worked for about 30 seconds to change out the tube to a shorter one for the chain hoist LMFAO.
