86 4RUNNER TORSION BARS

Looking for some "been there, done that" help. I want to lift my 86 4runner a couple of inches. Should I use the Downey torsion bars? How much lift can I get with them and what about the ride? It has 31x10.50 tires now.

You could just turn your torsion bars up now. I've heard the Downey torsion bars ride rough. Turning your up will make the 4 runner ride a little rougher though.

you can fit 33's w/ a tbar crank, or I have an IFS lift kit w/ the HD bars for sale, $350 skid plate, shocks, everything

I have a set of SWAY A WAY Torsion bars a customer ordered and backed out on . If you are interested give me a shout and I will hook you up to get them out of the shop.

Crank it a inch and toss ball joint spacers in it. 2" and little ride change.
