and i started having some issues with the engine which was proclaimed to be "newly rebuilt" so i dropped a new engine in it.

then i bought a sweet locking center console made for a jeep but i made it fit the 4runner. 2 locking compartments = win. it isnt super sturdy but it is certainly an upgrade from the stock console.

thanks so much to adam, robbie, brandon, stretch, marie, and everyone else who had a hand in the work done.

thanks cruiser!

haha, is that austin? oh yeah it will totally jump better now! sam is encouraging rear links already... we'll see how the tax return works out for me.

so i already have a black top that was bobbed 15in, cant wait to bob the body!

Do you remember which console you got and what you had to do to make it fit? Looking to do the same.
Thanks

this one. i cut the back flush with the back of the rear compartment. if you look at the pics on jcwhitney youll see that the back is sloped. all i did was cut a straight vertical line from the bottom up and removed the rear cup holders. you actually do not have to do this as your seats will still squish down but i prefer it this way. if you need a pic id be happy to take one.

Keep in mind, w/ that wider console, if you ever plan to put in aftermarket folding seats like Corbeaus, they won't fit w/ enough room to slide against that console. Its already a tight fit w/ them dragging against the stock console... just not a lot of width in these trucks.

I like the front bumper - I see you left space to mount a winch... but did you leave any way to get a cable out the front of it or mount a fairlead?

That front bumper is gone. Jeff traded it for some

Haha, kidding. But he's not running it anymore.

I recognize those springs, and that black top thats already bobbed! lol Just for the records though, its only bobbed 14 inches.

Lets hear it for the nobama poster and the bottle of Captain Morgan....and the 4runner. I wish my rig had a back seat.

nice runner. perfect stance IMO. not to high, not to low
thanks! the rear needs to go up a bit to accomodate 35s that i should have soon but other than that im quite happy with it!

you are correct. it fits fine with stock seats but ill be removing it once i get dual cases.

ill be sure to beat adam accordingly for telling me wrong. that would have sucked to cut an extra inch! thanks for the parts!

good stuff man on all three accounts! the back seat is handy as all the other kids i wheel with are only 2 seaters. i carry all the ladies :)

The holes weren't cut but they would have been simple once I got a winch. That was a STOUT bumper and can now be found on a white solid axle 2nd gen truck in Boone.

didnt have to but i plan to. i did however have to drill a different hole in the u bolt plate to move the axle back a bit so the tie rod and drag link didnt hit. that was the easiest option for now. dont forget to plate the frame!

8==========> your runner does that to me jeff. The tars look hot and when you race c class im pretty sure you're going to wax sams ass. woohoo
