Starting my sas among other mods. Rears up front is the route I chose. Should have it on its new axle in a day or two.

Well here we go. One last ifs shot.

I'm running a tacoma brake setup from front range. I needed to break down my ifs hub and pull the ifs rotor off. Found a handy extra set of hands to hold my parts to loosen the bolts.

Next I had to grind down the ears around the studs so the hub will slip inside a tacoma rotor. This allows me to have a unit bearing type setup and easy birf removal.

Gotta put the ifs back together in the morn to run some last errands. I wanted to make sure everything worked before I started cutting and would have to wait on parts to arrive. Trying to minimize downtime.

Had to run to the dump and take a bunch of stuff before i ripped it apart. Finally got a factory rollbar from my buddy down the street, so i decided to put on the bikini top to see how she looks.

While cutting the frame for my frame tubes my dewalt finally decided to give up. I've had it for many years will no trouble till i ran over it with my duramax. It seized up for a few minutes but after some playing it finally worked again. Been running like this for a few years but it would get extremely hot and start smoking after mild use. I cut most of one side of the frame for my tubes and i saw a stress crack in the drill's body and it finally let go.

It stayed together enough for one side though.

Thats about as far as it will get till my neighbor gets home so i can use his drill. My hole saw bit is to big for my electric drills.

IFS is out!!!! looks so much better already. Wasn't to bad cutting it out but the back bracketry was a pain in the ass. I left it for the night sitting on its new axle on jack stands. Tomorrow afternoon i should have the axle built up and be a roller again and tomorrow when my bud gets off we will get the steering box moved.

yeah its his old runner. I've only done a few mods since i've gotten it. I've done more repairs than mods at this point. Axle is built up with 4.56's welded, 30 spline axles, longfield chromo hub gears, IFS hubs, tacoma slip on rotors, tacoma brakes.

Had a lot of issues with moving the steering box but once i got the plates where i wanted them I went to put the box in and the bolts that came with my plates are bigger than my box is by about 1/32 by my guess. I have to make one more notch to my body mount also and once i fix these issues and bleed my brakes i may be able to drive it around tomorrow before i leave for supercross in ATL.

I put weight on it today and tried to set up the steering. Steering still needs a little work. I can go great to the left but i need more travel to the right. About to head out to supercross in ATL so it will have to wait till i get back. I did pull it outside of the garage and drove around the yard with no brakes other than the ebrake. I also need to build a front shaft. I did get a little yard flex though. Couldn't help but play with it.

well i was trying to flex it out some more this afternoon after tinkering with the steering some and i managed to run over the grill for the truck and then backed over a piece of aluminum that sliced a sidewall..FML!!!

made my flex object a little taller. Still need to make a front shaft so i made a ramp.

i have to break out the sawzall tomorrow and go to town on my rear fenders. I'm all up in them things.

How many springs are in the front RUF swap??? looks good so far!!!

currently 4 stockers and 1 added from some random pack. I know it needs at least one more to be safe but i hate to make it taller. I was hoping it would be lower than it currently is.

What size tires 33's or 35's??

drove it down the road today for the first time. Wow, its a lot different. Steering isn't near as "firm", thats the word i'll use. I will say it could use a steering stabilizer to slow down the steering so its not so twitchy. I'm ready to install my bumper tomorrow as soon as it shows. In the AM i'm also going to build up a front shaft and see what kind of trouble i can get into again in the yard. Hopefully this time i can keep my sidewalls in-tact.

got my bumper on. Either my bumper plate that i welded on was drilled wrong or my bumper was drilled wrong but its all good after a few minutes with a drill.
Just need to install my winch in the morning.

Got a few things done! Built up a front shaft so i have 4 wheel drive again. I will need a hydro assist setup in the very near future as its a beotch to turn with a locked front. I bought a fuel cell off of here so i need to figure out how i want to mount and run it. I want a dual case setup really bad but I need a few things first but to get me wheeling sooner i bought another set of 4.7 gears for my single case. I hated it as a single case but it was cheaper for me in the moment and i'll get duals a little later on. I also did the airsoft balancing in my tires. They did great up to about 65 and i started getting a small vib. Not to worried as i don't need to go any faster. A bob is in my very near future also! Can't wait to shorten her up a bit.

Interested where you put the fuel cell. I've been wanting to put one in mine but not sure how I feel about have 18 gal of gas 3 feet from me with no barrier. Are you still gonne run the bfg a/t's or step up to some sort pf m/t?

cage is finally in. I got my 4.7's installed today, mounted the 37" iroks in the garage, and i cut my fenders so my tires don't get shredded. Productive week and start to the weekend.

okay here are a few pictures for the nice folks here at ncttora.

My 37" iroks mounted up. These are by far the smallest 37" tires i have ever seen. My 35" bfg's measure a good 33-34 and these are the same size only a little wider.
