Need help to begin finding this issue.
Was cranking the Jeep today and in the middle of the starter turning the engine over, seems I lost electrical power. Now when I turn the key switch, I barely get dash lights, my clock second hand stops moving, turn the key off and clock hand starts moving again. With key on or off, my headlights won't come on (never an issue before today). I checked the obvious fuses, all are ok. checked battery and have 12.4 volts.
Is there any breakers under the dash/hood that I haven't found yet? Anyone had this problem before? Key switch bad?
Any suggestions/experience is appreciated.
This is a 87 wrangler, 4.2 I6 w/ Nutter bypass setup.
