plan to put in 3/4 ton axles a 350 chevy about 8 more inches an some 39.5 inch boggers just to start. with my budget im looking at about a year before completion of those things.

How about some 1/2 tons and a 350. Ill sell you a blazer at a good price and ill help you get them under there for free. Anyways i would suggest going on to 1 tons i f you are going to do it. Ive got 3/4 tons and 39's under my '91 toyota and i really wished i would have just saved a little longer and went 1 tons. Not trying to tell you what to do just a little suggestion from somebody that has been through that.

Oh and thats a good looking truck. Good base for a project.

Ill tell the truth i really never had any trouble out of the toyota axles, even with 39's. Now i didnt have a locker in the front, but the rear was welded and i only blew the rear once (and i was roasting 39's on the road when that happened). If you dont want to spend all the money on 1 tons i would look at putting toyota axles under it. I dont know if your set on full widths but i just thought i would throw that out there.

WTF are you talking about?
