Ok so I drive the burb to work wed and go to get fuel and notice there is something leaking on the ground on the drivers side of the engine i drive it home, Dark can't see a thing! I go to Ck it out today and can't tell where it is comming from I felt around the intake to head area and didn't feel like it was comming from there but it was a steady stream running down under the burb???? There is a tube that goes from the manifold on one side to the other side never seen this before does it have water(ANTIFREEZE) In that line?they both go into the manifold at the front of the engine and runs behind the engine I think that might be the leak but just can't tell ??? what does that do heat the exhaust??? Any ideas????
Thanks,
Bradley C

if the engine block is fairly clean i will leave a white residue on it.. but since it is a chevy.. the block will probably be oily..was it coming from the mid part of the engine bay or more towards the front? could be a water pump as well and just running to one side

It is comming from the rear of the engine on the driver side running down on the exhaust pipe!Ya it is oily !

350 chevys are notorious(sp?) for intake/coolant leaks.Ive got a burb in the driveway with a toasted crank and block, because I overlooked the intake leak.I just kept adding water, that was a dumb mistake on my part...

Ya I looked at the quick connect no leak it is LEAKing on the drivers side! I had hear about the intake leaks but from what I could "FEEL" it was not comming from there,I will change it any way beings they are know for giving trouble!
