88 manche random shut off

Well here's what happen/what I know. Just got this truck on the road a few weeks ago. I rarely drive it. Maybe 200 miles in the past month. 4.0 auto 2x4. I needed gas filled it up went to start it and nothing. Let it set a few days and wala it starts right up and doesn't miss a beat. I drove it 100 miles the past two days Pulled in the driveway and it shuts off. Wouldn't start again. It has new cps, coil, plugs, wires, random stuff since I've got it. Just because I wanted to For reliability reasons. Only other bit of info I got is, I threw a 100lb peice of wood in the bed over the weekend and it shut off. But it did start back up.

I have checked most connections and everything seems fine. Any hints or pointers would be great. I'm not to knowledgable on the older 4.0s. Thanks in advance. I need to get this one reliable as it will be my dd in a few weeks.

so start with basics since renix can be tougher to diagnose...spray ether or dump gas straight into TB when it don't start so we at least know what u have and what you don't have...from there it will be pretty simple to figure it out if its fuel or spark issue...

Well a heads up finally got some time to play with it and it started right up. Next time it happens ill diagnose it. Hopefully next time I won't be on the side of the road. Ill keep you posted.
