89 Manche Build

I recently purchased a 89 MJ with 209000 miles on it and a 4.5 lift kit.
The previous owner cut out the roof because "he was thinking about putting a roll cage", but that's as far as he got.


This is what it looked like when I got it

Things I have done since I got it
Took off the camper shell
Put a xj center console in
Fixed the 4wd
Took the bumpers off and in the process of fabing up the rear bumper

Ill have more picture this weekend tomorrow I'm putting on the rear bumper I've made and Sunday I'm gonna fix the hole in my roof

Ok got time to do some work on the roof today but not done yet.

Before

Getting ready to weld

Doin some spot welds

Welded and ruffed up the steel for some primer

Bondo and primed

Still need to do a couple more coats of bondo some sanding down and then of course paint

Did those seats bolt right in? What year XJ did you get the console out of, looking good!
