9:29am my world almost changed forever

My daughter was in a serious auto accident this morning. It was a head on collision. I will let the pictures do the talking, but I am so thankful she was driving a full size vehicle. We bought the 05 Expedition new, and she has been driving it since we sold her Mustang Convertible 2 weeks ago. If she had been on that car, she would likely have been killed. The driver of the blue truck was air lifted to Wake Med. Please pray for that family. I am sitting on the couch with my baby. I might have been sitting alone. -pony

Glad she is ok. Hopefully the other driver will be fine as well. What happened?

Holy Hell!
Glad she is ok.

Assuming they cut the roof off the Super Duty to extract the driver?

I am sorry to post that the driver and passenger from the other vehicle have both died. I am simply numb.

Because of the seriousness of the events, I simply can't comment on the details.

The next few days still have the potential to be very trying.

Someone else is without their loved ones tonight, my family was spared. I am grateful.

I'm so sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to their friends & family - this is completely devasting. Please know our thoughts & prayers will be with everyone who's been affected by this.

Praying for everyone involved. May God bless yours and the other family, it was simply their time to go. However God must have bigger plans for your daughter!

God bless those who have lost, and God be with you and your family through these tough, tough times.

I was going to start a thread about this wreck this morning, I didn't know your daughter was the driver of the expedition. My FD responded to this wreck, and while I wasn't there my wife was. It was one of the worst wrecks ALFD has seen in a number of years, and I am glad your daughter is ok. Prayers for you and your daughter, because this will be a very trying time for her. And prayers to the little girl who lost her grandparents and her guardians.

Wow. Prayers sent for your family and those of the deceased. I am also curious about what caused the head-on collision and I hope that the other family doesn't try to come after you legally (whether it was your daughter's fault or not).

Unfortunately was just on the news also.

Prayers for all involved.

Woah, not good.

This proves lives can be changed everyday. A simple trip to the store or a regular commute to work can be forever changed in a moment. We are to take the moments we have with love ones even if they get on each others nerves or whatever, but the fact remains if they were gone you can not have them back. This is a hard thing to imagine and a hard thing to live with being apart of something tragic like this. I pray truly that this community, families, and lives affected by this will have peace in their spirit. Take care and know my thoughts and prayer are with yall.
