Anyone know if a 1 ton spring will work on the rear of a 90 v2500 4x4 Suburban? I'm looking to stiffen it up with adding as least lift as possible, I don't really want to jump up to a 2 or 4in lift spring.

should just be able to add a couple leafs to it till you get the required stance/load your looking for. just buy a second spring pack and make sure your u bolts are long enough or get new ones and the centering pin/ can use long capheaded bolt, that uses alenwrenches,

Your later model squarebody 3/4 ton Burb should use the 56" long springs like a 1 ton. So like Tyler mentioned, either swap 1 tons, or rebuild your leaf pack. Personally I would rebuild your pack on your own, so you can fine tune it for your application.

We always made the rear suspension solid when we set up a pulling truck some people wanted it different ways, one guy wanted quick pull pins in place of his shock bolts and when he got to the track he swapped the shocks out for a tractor third link and tightened it up. Other guys wanted something that they could bolt on the bottom of the frame with the rear axle drooped down some then let the body down and that piece would rest on top of the axle kinda like a stiff long bumpstop. also check your hitch heightrules iI would have a straight hitch coming out and have the solid part of your suspension holding the hitch at the right height.
