90 cherokee 5 speed swap into 99tj

I was just wondering if this swap is possible..i got the transmisson out of a 90 cherokee and the only difference is the input shaft its smaller in the cherokee. any info would be great...thanks

was the 99 a 5spd? what motor in each? if they were both 4cyl or both 6cyl then they should swap, even though you might be putting in a weaker tranny then stock...

yes

the 99tj is a 5spd and both are 4.0 but the only problem i run into is the input shaft in the tranny im swapping into the tj is smaller so i ran into a problem with the pilot bearing..
