91 wrangler steering column

I have been told some of the late 80 early 90s cherokee steering columns will fit a yj, is there any truth to this?

late 80s and early 90s would be a yj....

I have made this swap before. It will work, but you have to cut off the metal flange that mounts the column to the floor from the XJ column.
