I bought a 1991 YJ that had one tons (14 bolt rear and HP 60 front), 4.0 and a auto tranny. It has Detroit lockers in both axles and gearded 5.13 with cromoly shafts front and rear. The back was 4 linked on coil springs and the front on waggie leafs. The Jeep had been rolloe don it lid and was a bit bent up. I brought it in and thought I would start sanding it down and make it look a little bit better....boy did it get out of hand fast!
So it begings:

Well after paint I thought I really had to have coilovers and stretch the wheel base another 10 inches or so. I was at 102 before I had OLD JEEPS work his magic.

Scott 3 linked the front and re did the back 4 link. I with with FOX 2.0 air shocks on the rear and FOA coilovers on the front with triple rate springs. Scott did a mad job on the linking and is a great fabricator. I highly recomemnd anyone to take their rig there for work!

I am sitting on 42"pitbull rockers and 16" coilovers and 14" air shocks

I'm in the process of linking and ton swap on my yj now alsoand have a few questions for you. What's the wb at now?

There is a cross member running across. I still need to add the supports, but I will post some pics as soon as I can. I had some surgery on my elbow and down a little with limited work time on the Jeep. o_O

Jeep looks awesome man, glad those shocks worked out for you. You sure didn't waste any time getting to work on that!

What color is that?

I wanted to give a thank you to lockedup5 for the help with the welding and build.
Ah I haven't done that much but it isn't done yet either. I'm just building up credits because I'm going to need help in the near future on my jeep. :D

Rod you have done a super job on that thing and have been very persistant. It has come along way in a very short period of time. I'm just glad you finally settled on a paint color.

The way your spelling you better slow down on the pain meds. :flipoff2:

Sick rig, love the color choice.

Thanks guys, I am about one weekend away from it going out for its firsh ride since the rebuild and 3 linking and coilovers.

Well i got to work on the Jeep some. I got the front drive shaft out and ready for the new one. New brake calipers and lines mounted. I took it out around the field for a short drive, got it washed and now its ready for the speaker pods and amp. Pic coming soo.

Looking good man, cant wait to get started on mine!
