you will need a bellhousing from a turbo 4cly truck to bolt up to a R-series tranny. No sure about the clutch, but i am sure you can use the 4cly stuff. MarlinCrawler may have an adapter.
If it were me, and i was going to wheel the truck (if its a wheeler) i would just sawp in a 4cly tranny and t-case. They you wont have to get a $$$$ adapter later to go from the V6 tranny to a gear driven case. You should be able to pick up a w56 (EFI 4cly tranny) and t-case for under $500 pretty easy.
