92 Dodge w250 extended cab

ok guys,no laughing! i got this prime example of a connecticut plow truck today. it runs good,steers funny(shaft is worn),and brakes are spongy. body work to ensue SOOON!!!!!!! now for the good,cummins,auto,extended cab,and 1st gen body!!!!!!! been hopeing to find one for a long time,caught this on CL and drove it home. any sources for upgrades are appreciated.

i like this body style too,i have a lead on another cab if i get in over my head. also,i was raised in NJ,so i know my way around a heat wrench!!!!!!!! LOL

What kind of upgrades are you planning?

slight horsepower,maybe 50-75 hp. and then just reliability(trans,rears,brakes). first on the list is to get the cab sealed back up and doors latching properly,and take the slop out of the steering. got a rebuildkit for the steering shaft.

Go see Crappie=granny [Don Custer], in Rockwell. He's got a nice one like that. He's also had so engine tuning done & tranny build.

ok,time for an update. been busy with work,but purchased a rust free 93 cab today. should have it home in a week or two. then i can swap the cabs and start fixing the other small issues.
