I've done this swap before. 94 4runner.
A few notes.
Without lowering the motor considerably, you will need a body lift to allow access to the bell housing bolts. This allows you keep the motor back as far as possible.
You will need a f-body oil pan and intake. Other wise have to cut the hood. On mine I kept the ifs, and had to notch the pan for the front diff. Shouldn't have to notch the oil pan with the solid axle.
Plan on running corvette style water pump and accessory offset. This is much shorter than f-body or truck stuff. This will keep the water pump out of radiator.
The biggest battle is getting the radiator and fan behind stock grill and rad support and have space before it hits the water pump pulley.
I would recommend cutting the rad support and moving hood latch and clearance the back of the grill to get the radiator as far forward as possible.
You will end up with about 1/8" clearance at pass side rear between firewall and motor. This is the tightest spot when the motor is centered, and as high and back as possible.
