92XJ MOTOR MOUNT

anyone have a freebie in good condition for a 92xj? mines really really bad and im waiting on a brown dog but scared its gonna shift and tear something else up. need it for drivers side. thanks..

Aren't they a captured mount? Shouldn't screw anything up, should it?

idk what a captured mount is, but the rubber is almost completely gone and motor torques up bad enough for the driveshaft to beat against the trans tunnel? make sense?

lol, hell...cut up an old garden hose and shove it in there til your new part arrives. the rubber is all thats bad, right?

its like a 3-4 inch hole....

Captured mount means the rubber is surrounded by steel. (Which is the case with the XJ mount.) Yours will be fine until you get the brown dog mount. Hell Both of mine were wore slam out and my tranny mount as well. I ran it like that a whole season before I realized what all that damn clanking was. Don't waste your time doing it twice.
