They R Doing studys on 1993- 2004 Grands to see if they are anymore prone too exploding during rear end accidents, Because they r so low, No recall as of yet but u might want to look into putn a good gas tank skid as a madatory upgrade. Just thought Id Put that out there.

NHSTA said there is nothing to prove that this is really happening. Just some scary story that a local station did, with no real facts to prove it. They are no more prone to erupting into flames than any other car that was rearended.

My wife's mom has a 2001 GC and freaked out when she saw the story, but it is all really bullshit.
