okay. I have changed: Fuel sender wiring, Fuel pump(x5), fuel regulator (x3), fuel filter(x4), fuel strainer, purged lines(x2), hot wired pump, changed crank sensor, cam sensor, map sensor, fuel cap, dist cap, ignition wires, ignition coil(x2), computer, non-ethanol fuel, inspect and clean fuel rail, change fuel rail and injectors(x2). even tried checking the tire oil.

Start up cold, OK. Drive 20-30 minutes and it will not rev to redline in gear. Stumbles, backfires at large throttle actuation. light throttle OK. shut off while moving wait 2 sec, Key on, wait 2 sec key off, key on, start, pedal to floor, jeep revs to redline, and wont act up again for another 20-30 minutes. I have an idea that it may be the oxygen sensor, but its not showing any codes on the CEL. Letting the jeep idle doesnt seem to make it act up any sooner.

plugs were new about 4k miles ago. that was after the problem had started. I have a pretty good exhuast leak at the donut, but i do not know if that would make the problem as described above. I'm beginning to think it may. I also replaced the wiring harness that feeds through the sender and to the pump, grounding the sender to check for bad ground, no changes.
