I just recently installed my new motor and forgot to hook up the ground wire from the body to the back of the head. When I started the truck I seen an ark come from the header to the body and the motor cut off. After finding out that my sending unit got shorted out I replaced it and the motor starts fine but while in park my speedometer jumps from zero to 85 and back and forth I'm guessing something got shorted out within my gauge cluster but idk where the ground Wires for this would be at it's a 350 4wd truck
