Ok there was a time I could figure out stuff like this. But 4 concussions and pain meds and my brain won't work like it used to. So here is the problem

Have a friends 93 K1500 Suburban 350 engine that had a cracked head. I replaced the head, installed everything, adjusted the valves properly, and now it won't start. It turns over real slow. Not quite like a dead battery but not full speed either. Maybe about 1/2 speed. I took the plugs out to see if that made any difference and it turns over a wee bit faster, but it sprays fuel out of the #7 & 8 plug holes only. And by spray I mean a pretty good puff every time. Nothing is coming out of the other cyls.

Short of setting this truck on fire and reporting it stolen what do i need to look at.

I know you said you adjusted the valves properly, but maybe double check them. If your friend is running the stock tbi and manifold then you should see fuel in at least 4 cylinders if you see it in any. The TBI unit has 2 injectors in it and each injector essentially feeds 4 cylinders, 2 on each bank. So something has got to be up. Check while cranking to make sure both injectors are firing. If both injectors are firing, then use a spark tester and check for spark, and check timing while cranking (should be 0* with Dist. timing connector unplugged). If all is well on the simple stuff, recheck valve timing. Good luck!
