so my grandma has a blazer she had some one put a fuel pump in it now if you go out in the morning to crank it it runs just fine but when you turn it off and try to crank it agin it will not start but if you wait for like 3 min it will crank up and run just fine so i replaced the pump and the filter this time myself and it still dose the same thing its a 4.3 vorteck the motor is rebuilt i dont know where to go next for this. please any help would be great

Does it ever quit when it's running? Pull the pump relay and see if the socket is darkened around the relay terminals.. bet you find it is.

That and check the connection on the injector, tighten the terminals gently. And check for fuel leakage from an injector line or fuel pressure regulator.

Check your coolant temp sender for the ecm, I had a 4.3 doing this and thats what it was. Its was reading -40*f and it wouldnt start warm. Maybe totally unrelated but its a start.

I put a manual temp gauge on it so that's not plugged into anything so would that make it do this

The one for the gauge is a separate one wire sensor iirc. If the two wire sensor is unplugged, it may be your issue. Check the fuel pressure and see if it leaks down after the pump shuts off as well. If it's got a blown regulator or burst poppet it will run fat fat fat rich.

It runs fine and drives great it just will not start for a couple min then run fine. If it is running rich would it run funny at idle

Maybe. The exhaust would smell different. Hard for me to explain. You can read the codes with a piece of wire. Only will have codes if the CHK eng light is on.
