94 Jeep Wrangler YJ brake issues

I have a 94 Jeep YJ with a D44 in front a 8.8 in the rear with disc brakes on all 4 corners. I was recently driving and a guy pulled out in front of me requiring me to slam on the brakes. The brake like came on and stayed on, but I still had good brakes. I disconnected the connector on the proportioning valve, and the light went away, so I know the problem is there somewhere. I did some research and it seems like this is a problem with the piston in the proportioning valve, and the solution is to simply bleed the brakes. I blead the brakes the traditional 2 man method tonight, and I got a lot of air out of the rear brakes. When I got to the front, I had very little fluid flow, this was on both front brakes. Is there something wrong with my proportioning valve? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

valve is meant for disc front and drum rear. unscrew the valve on front of the block, and remove spring. this will give equal pressure to both, then rebleed the brakes. made a big difference on mine.

Unfortunately that didn't work. I am getting no pressure to the front brake calipers on both sides. Fluid will seep out of the bleed valve, but not flow like it should. I took apart the proportioning valve, and nothing is stuck, but honestly I don't know what right looks like with those. Is it possible I need a new master cylinder? I hate paying money for stuff that I can do, but I am about to take it to a shop.

Just for shits and giggles I put a new master cylinder on it before I took it to the shop. To my surprise that solved the problem. I haven't heard of a single piston going out on a master cylinder before, but I'm no expert. I hope this helps some other guy with the same problem.
