I'll stand my ground on a lot but I'd hate to step on them toes lol. I thought I had heard about your business but wasn't sure. Oh well haha.Ah you back down too easy, just fucking with you! I never had a son! I have a hardwood flooring business.
The one Im looking at is the Thrush straight glass packed. I personally like the popping.the glasspack on my 4.2 sounds good. i think they lose their appeal (for me) when increasing ci - im not a fan of the popping. The glasspack on mine never pops. Its just a generic Jones Exhaust glasspack.
if you are referring to the cherry bomb that is a Super 10 knockoff - if you just looking to go cheap, i dont think its a good sound. Anyone who knows engines will shake their head at that noise. But hey, your jeep is for you alone. Lots of super 10 style cherry bombs on youtube and you can listen to the sound.

In that case ive never seen a huge difference between the brands. i got a thrush for a geo tracker and honestly cant tell the difference from the jones in the YJ now. Maybe the thrush was a little louder, but i contribute that to the V6 over the I6 power.
one thing to look into that i dont remember enough details for, the length of the glasspack dictates how much popping vs how much muffle. here is a video of the jones glasspack noise
What ya want for it? If your local I'd be interestedI've got a thrush glass pack in my junk pile. Came off my xj. Sounded loud, popped/crackled on decel. Liked it other than it was loud. Did I mention it was loud? Had to check the tach the first few times I drove it with a stock muffler to make sure it was running at idle!
NOTHING is more annoying than pop countryPersonally, I hate the popping, and there isn't a more annoying sound when you are behind one on the trail (well maybe not as annoying as someone blasting Florida Georgia Line ). I had a hushpower flowmaster on my 4.0, it sounded ok, but I learned a long time ago that you will never get a I6 to sound like a V8.
Thanks. Just looked up Rutherfordton. Too far for 5 bucks. But if I'm out that way I'll let you know$5 picked up. I think there is even a converter stuck to it. 2-1/4 ID both sides if my memory is right. Located in rutherfordton, NC.
