I have an option of buying a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0L.

The motor caught on fire, and completely destroyed everything from the grill to the fire wall.

The truck only has 100k miles on it, and still has a nice interior, and the rest of the truck is in good shape.

I am not a jeep guy so I am not sure what year model engines, computers, and body parts match up. I figured some of yall would know. I have put some trucks back together, but this one is probably the worst. Is this even worth messing with?

unless you have another GC with a trashed interior, I'd pass. these trucks sell for $1500-3000 lately, and that amount of work isn't that price, even if the jeep and a new engine are free. PLus, with that amount of heat, I'd be worried about the structual integrity of the unibody

Yeah, the unibody is a real interesting creature and it doens't like to be messed with... unless you are 100%, I would not mess with trying to rebuild this one. If you do buy it, there is some demand for parts, so you could part it out for some $$

You might be right, Isn't the front end, rear end, transfer case, worth something?
What about the interior?
The truck only had 100k on it.
