New coil, plugs, pick up,cps and have been replaced three times so know the parts r good WTF is wrong with this thing I'm pulling my hair out!!! Fuel pump and filter r new too.it was running but had no power and would not rev past 3k rpms but sometimes it would run fine what the he'll?

Don't some of those distributors have some issues internally. I remember my buddies had an issue one time and he had to replace a part internal to it

if your not getting anything from the coil then it may be either your ignition module or the camshaft sesor under the distributor cap. the black cover. if moisture ir too much carbon gets in there ten you aint going anywhere. are you getting fuel pressure?? it needs to be either 35w/ the vaccum or 39 w/o it on 4.0

Same thing happened to me on my civic had to replace the whole metal distributor housing had something to do with the pic up. Supposedly the icm does not normally go bad no guarantees tho.

Make shire u test coil & pic up coil with ohm meter. Had a friend bought new from auto zone and coil came dead in the box. Tested new part & was bad...

i was just thinking last night.. double check your output on the ignition coil. use a spark plug tester and crank it to see if you get any spark.if no spark take the distriburor cap off and try to turn the rotor by hand. if it feels solid then have someone crank the motor while you watch the rotor. if it moves freely then you need a new distributor as the teeth have been stripped off. i replaced mine 4 years ago and with the quality of az at the time it took another 5 distributors for me to get a good one
