96 chevy z71 transmisson shift problem

i HAVE A 96 CHEVK K1500 4X4 WITH A 350 AND 4L60E TRANSMISSION IVE REPLACED TWO TRANSMISSIONS AND EACH ONE WONT SHIFT PAST 2ND GEAR I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY ELSE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM OR KNOW HOW TO FIX IT

have the codes been cleared?
are you sure you only have 1st and second?
have you checked the fuses(in side of dash)
where are you getting these trannies?

Where ever your getting these trannys you should not for there again.

one was a reamnned advance auto trans that worked for about two days then went out then i bought a used trans and a new torque converter and it did the same thing

was the cooler flushed or cleaned?
if it wasn't you just flushed your money down the tiolet

Does your speedometer work? you could have a bad oss (output shaft speed) sensor or tp throttle position sensor.
