96 dodge ram v10, missing when pulling load

i have a 96 ram v10, it runs perfect with normal driving, but when i pull my rig up a steep grade it misses and backfires.Have changed plugs and wires. Please help its killing me.

try getting a coil pack, I can't remeber but I think they have two, they are bad about cracking and going out, does your check engine light come on and tell you a certain cylinder or does it say multiple cylinder misfire? Goodluck

Thanks for the reply, No check engine light. I had the codes read and it said bad o2 sensor. Replaced both, was still the same. Ill try the coil pack,always try the cheapest first, Going to harlan tomorrow and have to tow with it, Man its going to drink the gas.
I think ill check the fuel pressure. Might be low. Thanks though!!

If you had the codes read the CEL should have been on unless is was a pd code(pending code) or someone removed your light
