Starter is always running unless battery is disconnected. Replaced the ignition module, no dice. Ignition switch still has great spring back from the starting position so its not locked.

Any ideas would be appreciated before i kill this Taco:shaking:

Needs the contacts in the starter. $25 or so from Toyota. They are welded together. Remove starter and remove the back end of it to access. Starter removal can be a major pita if it's a 3.4l 4wd.

The contacts are very simple to replace. It`s a little easier with 3.4 starter if you have a body lift.

Its a 3RZ 4wd so same process I assume. If so thanks guys I will give it a shot tomorrow!

very easy to do, go through the fenderwell on the drivers side. takes about 1.5hrs to remove, fix and replace it

Finally got it all back together today, fired right up. Thanks to everyone who helped on this. I really appreciate it!
