97 4runner 3.4L, 5spd, Supercharged DD

I just picked up this 4runner as a DD. I has the 3.4L, 5spd, TRD supercharger combo with an almost perfect body, spotless interior, and its insanely fun to drive.

My question is regarding the supercharger...I have never owned a vehicle with one and I know nothing about maintenance. The rig has 198k on it. I bought it from my girlfriends father who bought from a dealer with 165k on it and I have no maintenance records to lean on. I will hit 7 pounds of boost when under acceleration. It also has a k&N cold air kit and Magnaflow exhaust.

How can I tell if the supercharger needs maintenance and what does that consist of? Also, I have read articles on fuel management upgrades to go along with the SC but its all foreign to me.

Any input?
 
That thing is a ticking time bomb and will cause you nothing but nightmares.
Sell it to me, and you won't have to worry about it :D.

You beat me to it lol, I was gonna say the same thing.

Get in touch with URD and ask them if nothing useful comes out of this thread. I know there's a few guys over on Tacoma World that know quite a bit about these chargers, I'm just not one of those guys.
