97 Landcruiser Build

Halo bar will tie into roof sliders with short legs and sandwich plates. All the down bars are through the floor and straight to the frame.

I like the way the rear anglebars tie in to the halo. Next time your out there take a pic of the bumper from a few feet back. It looks sweet.

Looks good, keep up the good work

If you need the other 38s feel free to take them, One is off and the other is on the driver side back.

you know where they are.

I already snagged one back, have about 6-7 lugs left to do and 4 out of 5 tires will be done. Havent decided if I am motovated enough to do the spare yet, lot of freakin work.

Kyle!

Any updates Kyle? Take a picture of the entire truck when you can. I want to see what the outside looks like with the modified bumper, the partial exo, and the 38s.

Too busy to take pictures!

Will be finished (late) tonight. Then loaded up on the trailer and headed to Windrock tomorrow. Will have wheelin pics after the weekend. :driver:

Sounds good Kyle. Please tread lightly....I would like to see you with a full-bodied rig for at least a few months. Then you can chop it up as usual with the saw-zaw

x2 save some truck so you and will can come down to rock hill and try out the new and improved FAT LIP trail. George, you are more than welcome to come too! yall have fun at windrock

So...Whats the word?

The Dodge tranny started to slip on the last big pull coming into Windrock. We got one trail in with the Cruiser and the power steering gave out. So Kyle towed the Cruiser home with my Dodge on Friday and drove back up Sunday to meet us for the drive home again. At about 20 min outside of Charlotte Kyle's Dodge wasn't pulling 1st or 2nd so we left it there for the night.

Just about everyone had their fair share of breakage. I sheared another hub, Lee broke the ears off the inner and outer 300M shafts in his front 60, one of the other Yotas lost a radiator and knuckle studs and one of the YJs ripped his rear truss out of his 9 inch axle tubes.

^ What he said ^

Thanks again, Will.

Not sure if anyone got any pics during its short-lived performance. If so, I will post them up.

I was fairly pleased with the few climbs I attempted, seemed to hook up well. I need to capture the rear coils as they jumped ship a few times, and a few other minor things, but overall, I think it will work good (for such a big bitch).

It has been dubbed "The White Bus"

Didn't the zipties hold up? I witnessed them fall out twice when Lee and I were behind you, but I thought they fixed it. Anyways, the bus looked good scraping and banging off every thing in its way. Good times!

Just got kyles dodge home and it got me thinking. How the hell do I get my dually home if it breaks?

They worked good enough for a trail fix. Just going to do something more permanent.

Thanks! You know how big a bus is?

Got dang ole beaver tail!

Cruiser was looking good kyle. It was awesome to see you back behind the wheel again, even if it was for only a bit.

Get that thing fixed so we can go again!

Bringing it back up to Ryans to finish the cage next week. About to pull the trigger on hydro assist I think. Also looking for cable conversion for the front elocker, and going back to engine driven fan. Should be ready to rock in a couple weeks.

*edit* And as much as it pains me to do so, I may put some sliders on this thing. I would like to be able to put doors back on as long as possible. The A/C still blows ice cold, and the F/R heaters still work too. Prob get some of the ones Cperry has on sale.
