My dad's '97 Suburban, regular run of the mill 4x4, 350, is having a hard time starting. He replaced the fuel pump a year or so ago, and the fuel filter about two months ago.
It starts fine if you pour some fuel into the TB, spray some ether in it, or "prime" the fuel pump a few times by just barely turning the key before kicking over the starter. Once started it runs great, no problems at all.
I think his fuel pump was a lemon and is going bad again.
Any other suggestions?
