I was on the way home from work, I get almost home and the trans starts whining and I turn onto my street and I lose all gears. It's an auto with a deep tranny pan. There is plenty of fluid in there. I have no gears, not even reverse. Before I take it into a repair shop I'm wondering if its just something like a throwout bearing or something as simple as as a fluid change. What do u guys think?

there is no throw out bearing on an automatic. check the fluid with it running, and then check it with the engine off and make sure it is lower with the engine running.
let me know the results.

I will be doing that this evening. I'll let you know. I have a deep tranny pan on there so there should be plenty. I'm not knowledgeable about an auto trans but is there a pump that may not be cycling the fluid through the gears? I'm so sick of this thing. I'm about to sell it

yes there is a pump, that is what i am checking by having you check the fluid level.
having a deep pan doesn't mean it has plenty of fluid. in fact it's even more of a reason to check it. aftermarket pans often don't let the filter set far enough down and loses it's prime easier than the regular pan.
