I just bought a 97 tj with no front axles, Has drivesheft and R&P Gears, but some one has removed the axles. Is it safe to just run on your unit bearing? or should i at least run the inner stub axle? Keep in mind id like to keep her a 2 wheel drive right now for gas.

You will have to run the outer stud shaft with a nut on it to keep your unit bearing together.

What he said. Do not drive unless you have outers stub shafts in place with a nut on the outside. You will lose a wheel and probable destroy your knuckle at the same time. My buddy has an extra set of D30 shafts for sale if you need em.
