I have a 98 Wrangler with a 2.5 I have been able to run this jeep everywhere with no major issues... Until now the check engine light came on Had 2 codes fuel pressure level too high. And the throttle positioning sensor. Fixed one with the fuel pump assembly. Now the TPS 123 is kicking me. replaced TPS numerous times getting ready to replace the PCM unless it is something simple? I have heard something about a clock spring on the steering. Could this be my issue as I know it possibly got wet because the horn started to blow in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. THanks sO much Ken

Unplug the clockspring and see if the code reappears. This is a very common issue with earlier TJs.
You know the clockspring is somewhat questionable anyway with the intermittent horn blowing, so I say replace it and see if it clears it up.

Thank you so the clockspring will in fact interfere with the throttle positioning sensor?
