I was wondering, if i put 2" blocks in the rear and crank the torsion bars about 2 1/2" what should i look out for as far as problems. Would i need to get longer shocks? and would the drive shaft angle be a big problem? thanks guys for the help

IF* you can crank the bars up 2", you will need an alignment. Drive shaft should be fine. Dont worry about shocks because the front end will be so stiff that you will be peeing blood anyway.

Considering the geometry of the front suspension, by cranking the Tbars all the way up, you will be maxing out the downtravel "permanently". The only thing you will have is uptravel, but the bars will be so tight that it wont travel much. The OEM length shocks should allow for full travel from upper bump to lower bump so they should still work.

Just my thoughts. Somebody with more ranger experience would probably be more helpful.

pretty much exactly what sgt said, diff remains at the same height so no driveshaft issues. if you go over 2" you will blow cv's, even still 2" puts more angle on them, therefore more stress. it downtravels some, but literally 2-3"

and it will def ride like :poop:

does it have blocks in the back already? if so, DO NOT stack another on top of them... dangerous, even tho i see it all the time. you may get some axle wrap but shims or an anti wrap bar should help. you can probably leave the rear shocks as-is, but you may max out the downtravel on the shock before the leaf springs.
