i havea 98 tj 5 speed 4.0 l. im getting some kind of sputter i will die and run over and over. expecially when i let off the gas as soon as i let off i shutter one good time. maby vacume? i thought it was because my header was cracked. fixed that and kept doing it. i bought new collector bolt and cranked the down tight as hell. that helped alot but not completly. maby the header bolts? but it dosent sound like its leaking. i have a check engine light on but i cant get the codes to come up. i also have some electrictal prob. the turn signal clicker clicks all the time, when i hit the brakes the right signal come on on the dash. and when i use either blinker its like my hazerds are on on the tail lights. idk if that would have anything to do with my sputter but i thought i would mention it
and dust. Unplug them and spray them with electrical cleaner and a brush. Some people silicone them back closed but then your F'd if you want to take it apart after that. Does your dash ever just die? Everything go blank??
