i have been looking at the rough country 3" lift. one kit u get Front: 3" lifted coil springs. Rear: Long add-a-leaf springs and hardware.Shocks: Kit includes (4) N2.0 Nitro series shocks. the
3” Series II Suspension Lift Kit w/ N2.0 Shocks has the same but u get Tubular lower control arms and Sway bar drop brackets. also seen one that has the blocks up front and aal in back. ok i thinking go with a 3" lift a cut the finders to fit 33s. but this is my first jeep and dont know which kit would be best for a dd/wheeling on the weekend jeep.

I had that lift kit, and I ran 33s on it with cutting... I wheeled it all the time and I did uwharrie with it.
And no you don't need ucas with this kit, not until 4.5" of lift are they recommended.

Good luck.

Really go for the new coils and leaf packs...makes a huge difference. Rc is a good company and you will never have a problem with customer service or replacing parts...Will tell you that their regular shocks are stiff...I have their 2.2 shocks which I like.

The RC lifts for the jeeps are very good for the money ... I run them on 3 of my personal vehicles. The n2 shocks are much better than the old white hydros. I think the add a leaf and shackle is fine. If you have any other questions you can call the shop we stock and sell RC and Rubicon Express and I can save you some money.
