98 xj no heat

Temp gauge reads 200* but heat is Luke cool at best. Suggestions?

Back flush the heater core. Gotta do the same in my 97. Just doesn't get warm.

Looks like the heater core is clogged. Someone suggested CLR and water, but I think I'll just change it.

Did you read the link I posted? It's really easy to flush the core. Much cheaper and quicker than yanking the dash and HVAC box...

I used compressed air and back flush it will work like new again

I did read it. I tried to flush it but just couldn't get water to flow.

That's too bad, man.
I have had a few where I had to crimp the hose to build up pressure and the release it quickly to really push out the crud.
