'99 GC trans

This is a '99 2wd Grand Cherokee, 4.0. The tranny is slipping. The fluid is not burned and it has been serviced. Is this a common problem?
What's the best remedy?

New tranny, you could try droppping the pan changing the fluid and putting some trans-x in it, it may help but its probably done for.

Do what we did -- get a good transmission specialist shop to rebuilt it. Our '99 CG (awd / 4wd) is better than when we got it in '02.
