I've got a 99 suburban 4x4 with dual ac. I've replaced the compressor, dryer filter, orifice tube after the first compressor blew an oring. Measured the freon in correctly, the gauges look good, but very little cooling inside. I feel like I 've checked all the bases and need some help. This vehicle will barely cool at any temp over 84 degrees outside.
Can a larger orifice tube be installed from chevy? a different manufacturer(ford etc)? I can't get the internal temp to go lower than 59-60 degrees. Most vehicles easliy run 40-45. Any suggestions?
Thanks
