99 tj 4wd light ?

okay going to the farm saturday hit a few bumps (everyone knows i 40 aint smooth) but anyways the 4wd light came on, its been on since then cant get it off tried putting in and out of 4wd to see if that work work but it didnt. what could it be its not hurting anything i dont guess but its agrevating as hell.

put some tape over the light!! lol ..... does the jeep have a body lift?

You've either got a short in your wiring, or the switch in the transfer case or shifter (Not sure where it is on your particular vehicle) is stuck closed.

T-case switch is prettty common on those trux, 31 bucks at the dealer

ok it doesnt have a body lift only 4 inch suspension. ill try a switch and see if that fixes it

only my 4wd part time light works. the 4low dont come on at all and you think thats bad try driving with the check engine light on for about a year
