Im looking to buy a 1999 Jeep wrangler Sport but the driveshaft came out while the guy was driving it and broke the transfer case which deployed the airbags. Ive heard its expensive to replace the air bags, but i cant find any information on them. Please help if you know anything about them.

Thanks a ton, -Mike.

Yea i looked on that site and they are running about 850$ for a set, not sure if thats a good price. If i could find somone parting out a Tj that would be alot more interesting. Should i contact the dealership to find out what it would cost there or for them to install them. Im not sure how hard it would be to put them in, ive heard it was dangerous though.

Thanks.

they arent hard to replace, you just got to remember to take the battery cables off, and let the jeep sit for 10-15 minutes before you touch it to prevent setting them off, then BE CAREFULL.

I strongly recommend you ground yourself to the vehicle before slinging those things in there. static electricity will set those puppies off.

I have also heard you have to replace the whole stearing colum and right side of the dash. If anyone could help id greatly appreciate it, Gotta decide to buy it or not.
